Denver Special Programs Coordinator/Instructor: Hey everyone! I moved to Denver from Oklahoma City in May 2011 and almost immediately became a member of Phoenix Multisport. I first discovered Phoenix Multisport at an AA conference in San Antonio, TX in July 2010. There was a blurb about the organization and its mission in some literature I picked up at the conference. I saved the article and thought to myself, "What an awesome organization. I would love to work for them." Here I am, a year later, an instructor for PM. I have been sober since Feb. 27, 2007 and a huge part of my sobriety has been outdoor recreation, particularly cycling, and an amazing community of sober friends. Phoenix Multisport has been a great addition to my recovery and outdoor pursuits. I am a cycling and strength training instructor, help organize our multiday trips and coordinate our fee for service and special programs for Denver. I enjoy road and mountain biking, hiking, skiing and really any activity that gets me outdoors and in the mountains.
