This run is designed for beginner-to-intermediate runners. We'll start with running basics including form, breathing, stretching and efficiency of movement. If you're looking to finish your first 5k race, run your first mile, or just give running a try, this is a great place to start.
No running experience required.
19 mile Intermediate / Advanced Mt. bike ride with 2000 ft of elevation gain from Boulder to Betasso Preserve and back. Physically and technically difficult ride.
Must be approved for this ride by a Phoenix Multisport staff member. To get approved, please attend less difficult PM Mt. bike rides.
Tuesday is now Open Gym at the Playground. It's sort of like climbing or working out in your own personal gym. Probably because it is our own gym. There are great top rope and leads climbs available and they are always in rotation so you are guaranteed new climbs on a regular basis. Not to mention our complete work out facilities including free weights, a variety of cable machines, stationary bikes and running machines. Look forward to seeing you there!
We have locker rooms at the gym for your convenience. Feel free to bring your own climbing gear, but don't worry if you don't have any, we've got everything you could need. (except for a happy meal...sorry)
There are no pre-requisites for this event. Skill level is beginner on up
Take a load off after work and hike the beautiful Chautauqua Park. If the weather is bad,head to the Brewing Market for coffee with the Phoenix Multisport crew. The Brewing Market is located in the Basemar Center on Broadway and Baseline.
Level of hike will be dependent on the group. We will start with beginner hikes and work our way up to advanced throughout the month.

Class will be held in the Jury Assembly Room inside of the Justice Center. The staff knows about the class and they can direct you when you enter if you are lost. Please arrive on time class will start promptly at noon.

Open events: Those new to Phoenix or who have not yet signed the Phoenix Multisport Conduct Policy, but are choosing to live sober are welcome at any open events.
*If it is your 1st time attending a Phoenix event, you must arrive at least 15 minutes early for a brief introduction to Phoenix and to complete necessary paperwork.

Prior to attending any Phoenix Multisport event, participants and members are required to have a minimum of 48 hours of sobriety. Feel free to bring your harness and climbing shoes, but if you don't have any climbing gear it will be provided at the gym. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes.
Zero experience needed. Skill level ranges are beginner on up.
Intermediate/Advanced Trail Run. We'll start out at the Doudy Draw Trailhead and run some of the beautiful trails in the Eldorado Springs/Marshall Mesa area. Run distance will depend on who attends and what they're up for! This is a dirt trail with hills, rocks, roots, and plenty of other obstacles to keep it interesting.
Run distance will vary from 4-10 miles. Please have some trail-specific running experience and be prepared before attending.
Come hang out at Cafe Sole, drink some coffee or tea and get to know other Phoenix Multisport members! This is also a great event for new people who need to fill paperwork. If you want to grab some food there's plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Following the social, at 7 pm if anyone is interested, we can walk over to Neptune Mountaineering for awesome free weekly mountaineering slide shows, movies and lectures. Cancellation policy for all events: All outdoor events will be canceled in the event of a lightening storm. Sometimes events are canceled due to heavy rain and wet roads.
If you are unsure if an event is happening please contact the event leader by phone or email or call the office directly.
If you need to use a Phoenix bike you must arrange this at least 48 hours in advance of the ride. Please contact me by phone or email.
It is mandatory to bring your own flat changing tools including tubes, a pump or CO2 cartridges, tire levers etc. Please make sure to bring this equipment even if you are using one of our bikes. It is also required to bring your own water and food.

This is an Intermediate Level ride. If you have never attended a Phoenix Road ride you are required to attend a beginner clinic/ride prior to joining this ride. If you have experience and feel you do not need the clinic please call me to discuss.
