This event is NOT intended for those new to climbing. Details about where to meet will be provided to those who RSVP. Climbing will be very close to our campsite.

Event Specific Information/Requirements:

Climbs will primarily be in the 5.10 or higher range.

Team member only event: Reserved for those who have committed to living sober and have completed the Phoenix Multisport Conduct Policy, Medical Disclosure and Waiver forms.

Prior to attending any Phoenix Multisport participants and members are required to have a minimum of 48 hours of sobriety.

Gear - Climbing
- Belay device
  
  with locking carabineer. Mechanical pieces of climbing equipment used to control a rope during belaying
- Chalk bag
  
  holds chalk to keep hands dry.
- Climbing harness
  
  pretty handy piece of gear this, being that it keeps you from dying
- Climbing helmet
  
  another piece of "anti-death" equipment, again, not a bad idea to have
- Hand tape
  
  with almost limitless uses second only to duct tape "hand tape" or "medical tape"
- Locking Carabineers
